Elliott Milek: Cross-Border Tax Advisor and E2 Investor!

Elliott began working at Ernst & Young in 2007 as a US tax specialist in the US Corporate Tax Services department, providing corporate and individual income tax preparation. Previous to joining Ernst & Young, he gained experience in industry working in the accounting department of an Ottawa based engineering company. Ellott is an alumna of the Sprott School of Business from Carleton University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in accounting and corporate finance. While completing his degree, he volunteered his time within various school clubs, in particular the schools finance association as  the treasurer of the department. After leaving Ernst & Young, he spent two years as a tax manager in the U.S. corporate tax department Deloitte LLP., gaining experience dealing with U.S. – Canada cross border transaction for various Ottawa based companies. After leaving the corporate firm life, Elliott has branched out on his own.
